Reflecting on 15+ years
When I started this company in 2008, I had a simple vision: to provide Louisiana businesses with quality IBC containers at fair prices, backed by honest service. What I didn't anticipate was how much this journey would teach me about the incredible business community we serve.
From the farmers in the River Parishes who trusted us with their first order, to the chemical plants along the Mississippi corridor who rely on us for their UN-certified containers, every customer has contributed to our story.
Over the years, we've faced challenges - hurricanes, economic downturns, and global disruptions - but Louisiana businesses are resilient, and so are we. Through it all, our commitment to quality and service has never wavered.

Our Journey

The Beginning
New Orleans IBC Totes was founded with a simple mission: provide quality IBC containers to Louisiana businesses at fair prices. Starting with a small inventory of just 50 totes and a single truck, we began serving local farms and small businesses in the Greater New Orleans area.
Growing Demand
As word spread about our quality products and reliable service, demand grew rapidly. We expanded our inventory to over 500 totes and added our first full-time employees to keep up with orders. The chemical industry along the Mississippi River began taking notice.
Recycling Program Launch
Recognizing the environmental impact of single-use containers, we launched our IBC recycling program. This initiative helped businesses responsibly dispose of end-of-life containers while reducing waste. It also positioned us as an environmentally conscious company in the industry.
Repair Services Added
We added professional repair and reconditioning services, allowing customers to extend the life of their IBC totes rather than replacing them. This service quickly became one of our most popular offerings, saving customers thousands of dollars annually.
Food-Grade Expansion
To serve the growing food and beverage industry in Louisiana, we expanded our product line to include certified food-grade IBC containers with documented content history. This opened doors to restaurants, food processors, and beverage producers across the region.
10 Years Strong
We celebrated our 10th anniversary and the milestone of serving over 5,000 customers. Our team had grown to 15 dedicated employees, and we moved to a larger 20,000 sq ft facility to accommodate our expanding operations and inventory of 2,000+ totes.
Adapting to Challenges
During challenging times, we adapted our operations to continue serving essential businesses that relied on our containers for critical supplies. We implemented new safety protocols and expanded delivery options to meet changing customer needs.
Transportation Fleet
We expanded our delivery capabilities with a dedicated transportation fleet of 8 trucks, allowing us to offer more flexible and reliable delivery options throughout Louisiana and into neighboring states. Same-day delivery became available for local customers.
Looking Forward
Today, we continue to grow and innovate while staying true to our founding mission. With over 10,000 totes sold, 500+ active business clients, and a reputation for quality and reliability, we remain committed to serving Louisiana businesses for years to come.
